Thinking it might be too soon to tell gender yet, they're 14 weeks old. Pretty sure the last one is a roo...it's twice the size of the other two. Also, what color would you say the last one is? Thank you!!

I would honestly wait another month before trying with silkies. @LynnaePB @LadiesAndJane What do you guys think? The last one has the feathers for a roo.
Thanks for the tag! I agree too young to be sure. First one looks to be a cockerel. I agree waiting a few more weeks at least will help.😊

I agree with ChloeSilkie08 and LadiesAndJane it's looking like it may be a bit early to tell very well. The little black one looks the most pullet like to me at this point though.

As far as the last ones color it looks somewhat like red pyle. This involves dominant white over partridge in silkies. Since dominant white doesn't block red pigment nearly as well as it does black you get the pyle like pattern when both dominant white and partridge are combined. Paints also have dominant white involved and it is not too uncommon for paint lines to occasionally throw red pyles. :)

Thanks everyone! I swear, I'm the absolute worst when it comes to gendering animals. We had a cat named Sammy years ago, that turned out to be Samantha... And another cat named Sassy, that turned out to be Sass"HE"... And our dog named Rosie, that had to be renamed Roosevelt. 🤣.
