I’m a new chicken and dog owner. I had some initial trepidation about how they would interact together. So far, despite some earnest efforts (as well as some valiant failed attempts) at occasionally trying to herd them, the dog (Mia) and the chickens (Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose) are getting along with each other quite well. Dorothy is definitely Mia’s BFF, I keep catching them gossiping together about the other chickens behind their backs.
