Did you mark the old eggs that were already lain so you can tell them apart from any newly laid eggs? Might want to do that so you aren't eating old eggs.

My hens like the shredded paper in their nesting boxes, too!

I was thinking about that actually. I didn't mark the eggs. I guess it'll be super exciting if there are new ones in there. lol I just put one egg into each box so it'll be easy to tell if they laid any new ones.
