TV, but most power outages knock out cable

We have a lot of DVD's and a couple video games that we like. Gotta pass the time somehow.

The battery back-up I have here will run the router and wi-fi for about 4 hours. Laptop batteries are the major issue, not the signal! If I thought it might develop into a long term outage, I would turn off that UPS.
We have a battery powered weather radio that will run a long time after the power goes out. We have not run it down in 2 days.
For entertainment, we have actual paper books and board games such as Monopoly! No power required!

The vast majority of our books are dry reading...great info in them, but far from entertaining. Cards and dice, but no board games...maybe I should look into getting a couple.

I would use the toys in the guest house if there were a serious power outage! Jenga, Monopoly, Sequence, and some outdoor things like bean bag toss stuff.
