Genesis 1588 Incubator Question?

Ok thank you both, this is my plan: since my humid is already 30-40% I won't add water and on day 18 I will add a cup and take out the egg turner and set the eggs in the cardboard egg carton with the lid cut off and not touch it until they hatch, does that sound about right?

I do have a nice hygrometer that will work perfect. I just ordered the Genesis and already have the egg turner so I am getting prepared and figuring this thing out. I really like that all you do is plug it in and there is no adjusting the temp all the time like on my previous still air bators. I'm so over that!

I've got three 1588's and a 1590 which was the earlier version of the 1588. I like mine a lot.
