Is the 1588 a more modern version of the 1582 I have here?
The design (HUGE WINDOW) is very similar, although the 1588 is more streamlined in appearance
The main differences are the fan does not blow downward but outward so it seems to hold and recover temps better than the 1582. The big window is nice and the auto therostat is spot on. The only inprovements I would like to see would be coating the foam with a washable material and adding an automatic humidity pump both of which are the main selling points of the Brinsea incubators. If QGF were to ever do that the 1588 would be perfect.
