Genetic Problem? Angle Wing in a chick??

I have a young Cockoo Marans that appears to have a sort of "Angel Wing" like in ducks.... It has about 5 feathers around the shoulder area that are seriously growing wrong... they turn straight up! What can I do about this?

My Langshan chick did that, once a bit more length grows for those feathers, they should lay down normally.

Aren't "angel wings" a protein thing? Just curious and often when birds are growing new feathers, they just look odd. Once they get them where they belong, it'll be normal.
