~*~Genetically High RP (Role Play)~*~Unlike Any Other! {Restart!}~*~

Kiri was quiet for a moment, not knowing how to reply. Her voice was a whisper. "Uh...yeah. I guess...if you could call being attacked by things I can't see and not knowing what is really going on 'okay', then yes. I'm okay. Thant and my hearing it's just..."
Garret watched her a moment before asking, keeping his voice as soft as he could "What's going on with your hearing?" He understood the first part, these creatures had freaked almost everyone out.

Kiri looked at him. At least her cold violet eyes did, "Are you whispering? Probably you are, the sound is not as ringing as when you normally talk. But...you sound like you are speaking in a normal tone. And all this noise...it's just me but my ears are ringing like they will never stop." she laughed ruefully.

Kat picked up a tub of antibacterial cream and a package of bandages. She went over and sat on the bed next to Jenna, then beckoned Richard over. They bandaged each other's wounds while Kat watched Garret out of the corner of her eye.

Garret frowned and nodded "Yeah, want to try going out by the door with Eve and Noa, it's probably quieter out there." (btw he means inside not outside)

Kiri shrugged, "I guess. Thanks." she sighed, "But I will have to get used to it since it seems we are probably stuck here." she started to get up.
"Just cause you might have to get used to it, doesn't mean you can't take a break from it." Garret said, automatically offering his hand to help her up.

Ivory finished wrapping Jenna's sprained ankle and brushed a blood coated strand I hair from her face. She decided she needed to get cleaned up. The only part of her that was clean was her hands. She walked over to the sink and washed her face and hair, just enough to get the blood out. She squeezed the water from her hair and French braided her damp hair back, the braid reaching down to her mid back. She sighed in relief, glad she had her hair out of her face and relatively clean. Now she could be absolutely sure that she could keep things she touched sanitized. She checked other people's wounds and rest apples others, going around the group to make sure everyone was alright.

Kiri Lee felt the hair on her arm raise a bit and put her hand out where she hoped his was. She grasped his hand and thanked him as he helped her up, glad she hadn't missed. Maybe there was a blessing to the strange things that were happening to her. She was more aware of her immediate surroundings anyway. She let him lead the way.

Garret grinned again and led her out to the room where Noa and Eve were guarding the door, then to a bench against the wall "There's a bench" He said softly. "I gotta see where Noa and Eve went." He said and left her to go to the door, smiling when he saw the two girls standing just outside "What are you two doing outside the door?"

Noa jumped and turned "Garret!" She sighed and rolled her eyes "We are watching for any other students to come in."
Eve turned and took a a step back, before recovering and turning to look out again, frowning.

Kiri waited, siting on the bench. But she could hear Garret and Noa talking from where she was. She sighed and closed her eyes...focusing on the incessant ringing. Trying to block everything else out but that...
Slowly...everything quieted to a drone. She only thought of the ringing...blocked out everything. It was still there but she ignored it. She didn't think of anything else, relishing the lessened sound.
