Welcome to a world that is not human, not the animal kingdom, but somewhere in between.
It begins at Aquila High School. Founded by Genevieve Aquila, this school holds many students.
And a secret...
It started at the end of term. Students have been living in the campus, located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. They have been completely isolated from the rest of the world. As of late, strange things have been happening. Things they never would have expected, along with strange abilities... And then came the barrier. It encircles the entire island, along with some small surrounding islands. Everyone is gone but the students of Aquila. The abilities, students realize, are beyond human, but not like superheroes in comics. And they are becoming more severe.
Gideon O'Connel has died to genetically engineered animals: Lion/lynx hybrids with grafted Inland Taipan manes and Belcher's Sea serpent poison. Some of them even have wings. Now they're attacking the campus where the other students are.
And they were sent by Genevieve Aquila, founder of the Genetically High Experiment.

Understand this: That every character will suffer. Some will die. I will spare your favorite. My characters will suffer as much or more than yours and I have already planned to kill one.
You can have as many characters as you want, but play them once a week. (Unless you can't play at all for over a week.)
You can have 3 powers. A 4th is allowed as long as it has nothing to do with combat.
The powers have to be based off of animals or come from playing with the human anatomy. So no teleportation, flight, super strength, etc. And they have to still look human.
Romance is allowed, but it has to be realistic. No love-at-first-sight. And don't go overboard with it. [Staff note: again, ALL content is to be suitable for all ages. Be very careful what you post in this regard]
Fighting is allowed in the RP; again, it is to be kept realistic.
No fighting for real. And no drama ("I'll leave if you do that!").
No playing other people's characters.
No one-liners. (I'm not saying War and Peace for every post, but try for something interesting.)
To prove you have read these rules, put "Fudge" in the "other" section of the form.
And if you try to get past the barrier, you will die.
