Cass' claws plunged into a monster's throat - and then it happened. Another one that she hadn't seen sank its teeth into her forearm…and pulled. Two horrible noises - Cass' scream of pain and terror and a horrible ripping - her forearm had been torn off. She crumpled to the ground, barely conscious.

"Cass!" Ivory screamed over the noise and dropped to her knees. Her eyes wide in horror. Tears stung her eyes. Furious, she shocked the two monsters, frying them worse than she had the others. She didn't even pay attention to the smell, then bent down next to Cass and ripped off her sleeve, tying it as right as possible just above her elbow to stop the bleeding, her heart hammering frantically in her chest. She felt searing pain her her calf and looked down, barely able to keep from screaming. She saw dark, thick blood gushing from a gash in her leg and a monster right above her. She rolled onto her back and kicked up with both feet, using her momentum to put more force into the kick. The monster jerked bak and was sent flying over 50 yards away and right into the shield, frying to a crisp with a horribly shrieking noise. She turned back to Cass.

Kim's nose wrinkled at the monster's smell. It wasn't a basket of roses. She kept herself from cringing when she saw Cass. She knew the people around her were still under attack. She began to shoot, fast as she could, mostly killing but severely injuring all the monsters she shot at, creating a barrage of arrows raining down, trying not to think about it, not trusting herself to hit what she was trying to if she did. She let herself slip into an arrow spitting machine, before she knew it she was out of arrows, again. She pulled out her last quiver and hoped there weren't anymore coming.

"Cass!" Ivory yelled and dropped to her knees. Her eyes wide in horror. Furious, she shocked the two monsters, frying them worse than she had the others. The monster jerked bak and was sent flying over 50 yards away and right into the shield, frying to a crisp with a horribly shrieking noise. She turned back to Cass.

"Help! You need to help her!" Weston screamed at Ivory; his voice feeble.

Sam turned as a monster sliced her Achilles' tendon almost all the way through and her leg buckled. "AHHHH!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as the creature slowly walked towards her.

Mika looked to the increasing screams and ran to help.

"Help! You need to help her!" Weston screamed at Ivory; his voice feeble.

Sam turned as a monster sliced her Achilles' tendon almost all the way through and her leg buckled. "AHHHH!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as the creature slowly walked towards her.

Mika looked to the increasing screams and ran to help.

Ivory's lips were quivering as she tried to speak, but no decipherable noise accept chocked out sobs. "Cass. C'mon, don't go to sleep." She said, taking Cass from Weston's arms as if she was nothing. "Sorry. I have to take her inside." She said, hating to abandon them, but she had to get medical supplies in the school and get away from the creatures.

Kiri Lee looked in the direction of the boy's voice. She coughed as she breathed deeply, standing shakily. "Thank you." she said softly.
She had never heard his voice before. Perhaps she never had noticed but it was rare for her to hear a voice and forget the way it sounded.
"Thank you." she repeated as she brushed the wall with her fingertips, her sightless eyes staring around as if looking for more of the creatures. She groped with her other hand for the remainder of her mop handle and rose, gripping it tightly. "I'm..I'm Kiri Lee." she murmured.

"I'm Garret" He said, picking up another creature and throwing it to the others, "Two-fer" He said, grinnig as the one hit two others, killing all three.
"I'm Noa" She said, using her claws to slice one of the creatures. She fell back a moment and used a piece of her shirt she had torn to quickly wrap her arm where that last one had scratched her.

Eve glanced over and doubled her efforts to keep the creatures away from Cass and Ivory.

"Garret...Noa..." Kiri blinked as she said the names. It wasn;t her voice that had said them. It was Garret and Noa's...she had mimicked them perfectly. "Uh...nice to meet you..." she said, slightly embarrassed. SHe brandished her mop handle but didn;t know what to do...they seemed to be okay on their own.

"Neat" Noa said, grinning "Yeah, you too." She added and turned back to the fight, slashing with her claws at yet another creature.
"Cool trick." Garret said, then ran to the other side of her to knock back a creature trying to sneak up on them
