Julia froze, her hands trembling, one hand still over her mouth. That was the real question, wasnt it? Who is holding them captive and why?! she thought.

A sudden crashing sound filled the ears of the students, they rushed outside to see what had happened. A huge, shimmering barrier encircled the island, the image of the outside world wavering like heated air. The students approached it, treking across the island. Sylvester stared at it. And then he made a fatal mistake. He tried to get past it. There was a flash, a high-pitched whistling sound - and there was Sylvester. Sylvester's body, that is. "Julia," said Cassie, her voice trembling, "I think we'll have to reschedule that trip."

Nex stared in horror at where Sylvester's body used to be.

Wintent shook scared she was deathly afraid of the wall and took three large steps back.

"What now? How do we get out?!" Julia said to Cass. She tried to keep calm. Though, she looked calm but shocked on the outside, on the inside, she was freaking out and having an internal meltdown.
