I didn't really understand the explanation on the genetics, I have a headache today though so maybe it's just me.
Most of my chicks from the blue wheaton turned out blue or black (9 each) with some red leakage. So it seemed like the bbs worked exactly the same as any other birds. I had 5 chicks that had the wheaton over top of the bbs. 1 with black underneath and the rest were blue. But they had the gold color over top that hid most of it.
I'll post a picture of a few.
