They should start laying at 16-24 weeks, so your getting close. That first egg seems like it takes forever to get here, but with the breeds you have, once they start laying you'll have plenty of eggs.

I'm in georgia too! Hall county over here! I'm brand new to chickens and anxiously awaiting my first eggs as well! My ladies are only 9 weeks so I have a bit of waiting to do.

We have eggs!!! We have had five since Saturday July 12!! They r perfectly formed brown eggs but very small.!! Our chicks will be four months now!!

I'm thinking Ming Ming is laying them cause when I get the egg she comes in the box room and looks so proud!!
