I have a variety of breeds and love them all. We have a few exotics and some that are more that are good ol egg layers and they are all our sweet girls with a couple of accidental roosters in the bunch!

white purebreed hens are $25, the mixed are 2 for $30, or $20 a for 1, and hens with twist foot are $7, someone couldnt show them but there okay layers. This is what she told me.

You could search the various silkie threads Silkies, Buff Silkies Patridge silkies etc. also check out Buy/sell/trade forum - sometimes you will find breeders that will sell individual silkies, others sell as pairs or trios - usually including a rooster.good luck
