Hi - I’m Paula and I’ve had chickens for about 5 years in my tiny backyard in Florida. Since moving to Georgia we increased our flock to 11.
1 old boy and a variety of girls to keep us in eggs.
They love having so much space to run, and help themselves to our peaches and blueberries ( especially the blueberries).

We have a variety…Blue Rock, Cornish Cross, Sapphire Splash, Bronze Lace, and Brahmas. My favorite is Polish but I lost my little bobble-head over the winter, so hoping to get another some day.

We love our chickens, they’re quite the characters and so much fun to watch and interact with.

We have a mini “zoo/farm” with a horse, a goat, the chickens, several dogs, lots of cats, a fish, and a parrot 🦜.

I found BYC on google and have relied on this wonderful community from the beginning of raising my chicks to doctoring them when needed. So finally decided to join the club. 😁

Welcome to BYC, Paula. Your photos are beautiful. You should enter that first one in our picture of the week contest. Or, one of our many other photo contests.
