To improve the quality of the birchen colour I’m intend to cross a german birchen langshan bantam male with an orpington birchen female.
One problem is the colour of the eys, the langshan does have dark eyes, the orpington orange/red. This is also connected to the colour of the legs. The langshan black, the orpington white with grey.
But the big question, what happens with the length of the leggs? The extreme long legs of the langshan and the short leggs of the orpington.
