Here's a longer (10 min) video from Metzer regarding sexing ducks/geese. The main thing with vent sexing is to be careful and very gentle, I think.

recommending vent sexing, or vent sexing at all without experiencing the process, outcome and aftermath personaly isnt very wise.

from personal experience; Dont vent sex your PET ducklings. Just have patience

Oh I'm definitely not going to attempt to vent sex them. I'll just wait until they're older...I'm pretty patient when it comes to that stuff. Our biggest obstacle now is trying to come up with unisex names for them that we can all agree on! LOL

I thought this was funny. The ducklings have instantly warmed up to my daughter. They will always go to her, regardless of who else is in the room.
