gettin into the numbers

trying to find a breed to get. i have two questions #1: on avg how many eggs per day will 6 red star chickens lay question# 2: on avg how many will 8 redstar lay and plz if you have not heard of red stars look them up and if you find this info tell me where you found it (i.e.) what website

I have read this breed will lay around 300 eggs/year. I'll leave the math to you.

People generally get red stars because they are reliable egg producers. This takes account being fed and raised properly. Bad weather or illness can affect any breed of hens.
