Getting a bald neck need help

Update.

First I tried out a carrier on Popo to see just how hard it would be. Other than some offended dignity on his part it was easy and simple.

Second, when I called the lady again and told her the plan for getting the emu home I found out why no one has gotten the emu before now. I was thinking the bird was at least some what sociable. It isn't. It is in a huge horse pasture and will have to be herded into a make shift chute and into a trailer to be captured and the owner is terrified of the bird and will not be anywhere near for the loading process. I decided to pass on getting her.

I did luck out on finding someone that has a one year old that they think is female. I'm considering seeing about it.

Vanisa, Where are you located? I have a Emu I am looking to re-home. I think it is female but I haven't heard the boom boom noise. The reason I think it is a female is that 'she' tries to pick fights with my other females but not the males. I am in Upstate SC.

Emu dude- Popo was over it by the time the sun came back up. Came over to love on me.................................................................... and see if he couldn't convince me to sit down. Sad sad boy.

dnk-I'm in Cullman Alabama. Wish you were closer.
