I was told last year that if a hen is broody and I do not want her setting, to put her in a cage for 3 days without water or food and she will come out of the mood. The floor must not be comfortable.
It worked last year. This year it is NOT working. I have one hen that will spend 3 days in solitary, one day out, 3 days in, one day out.
I can NOT get her out of the broody mood.
I do not want to continue this with her. It can not be healthy.
What works for you?
