Just wanted to add that - like Cesar Milan says - love him, but treat him for what he is, a dog, not a human. Always make sure you are pack leader and educate him to know that he's at the bottom of the command chain. Believe me, a spoiled dog this size is just asking for trouble. I hate to see this gorgeous dogs end in a shelter because their masters spoiled it to the point not even them can stand it.

We had a GP a few years ago. VERY terrotorial. If they're are any other big dogs around, expect a fight when the pup is grown. Our's would kinda go roam off in the woods whenever it wanted, and try and heard the neighbors goats.

We thought she was so un-trained, but we didn't realise she wasnt' that bad until we got a puppy this spring.
