getting a roster ready for a show

I a new to show birds and I want to get one ready for a show but I don't know anything about it also it's a mildly angry roster

If he has a bad tude he won't do well.

His feathers need to be kept in good condition overall and then he needs to be prepped prior. Bathed, blown dry, nails trimmed, gone over with a silk cloth, comb oiled, and generally spruced up.

He needs to be parasite free, and needs to be cage trained and accustomed to handling.

When you have time stop in at the new member introductions thread and introduce yourself. We are always eager to 'meet' new people and get to know new members.

I have never shown birds but I would think that disposition would figure into the mix when it comes to judging. It would be great if you would have time to 'gentle' him if possible before showing him.
