The first few days that my 7 week olds were allowed to roam the run, the BF and I went out and chased them every night. It sucked. We have a raised coop and they invariably ran around in circle under the darn thing. On day 4? we decided to wait until dusk, about 8:30 these days. It was like magic. There they were all in the coop staring at me like I was tardy. I've done it this way ever since. It's so much easier.

Just see if they go in on their own, and if they don't, then don't feed them for a day or two. Then, at bedtime, make their feeding really obvious and put the food in the house. They should go in. Shut their door and don't let them out until morning. Repeat as necessary!

There also might be something that's scaring them in there. Make sure there are no dead animals (mice) or anything else kinda spooky.

Best of luck to you!
