Getting chicks and ducklings! Do you think I should get a gosling?

I'm going to Brau's Hatchery this spring and picking up some chicks and ducklings and I might get a gosling. The thing is I know what breed of chicks and ducklings I'm getting but I don't know what breed of gosling to get. I have to keep my order small with all the chicks I'm planning to hatch so this is what I'm getting.
My list for Brau's
6 or 8 Partridge Rocks
3 to 6 Blue Swedes

and this is what breeds of geese they have
White Embden
Gray Toulouse
African
White Chinese

So what do you all think? What breed is the best and should I even get a gosling at all? And any other breeds of chicks or ducklings you think I should add? The list of what breeds I already have is in my signature.

Well, Khaki and Runner ducks are good for eggs.... but Khakis need a large area of land to forage, they say. I really like my Khakis.

Pekin ducks are good for meat, if that's what you hanker for. If you let them free range, they will wander around your property at night quacking as they make their rounds.

I don't know why you want a gosling so I can't honestly say whether you should get one or not. But in my experience, Africans and Chinese geese were rather loud.

They sounded like dinosuars from Jurassic Park. We ended up eating them all to avoid annoying the neighbours (any more?

). So if you live close enough to other people, geese might not be a good idea due to the noise factor.

As for chickens: Australorps make good egg layers, plus the roos are handsome and manly.

Barred Rocks are also good for eggs, and both of the above are DP birds which means you could also eat them if you choose.
White Leghorns are rather flighty, but are excellent egg layers.
These are just the birds I have the most experience in (except for Runners, which I don't have, but just think they look perky

).

Oh...GET EE's! They are the cutest, sweetest egg-laying hens. Plus you get greenish eggs. They look like birds-of-prey...but they still have charming personalities! What's not to like!

I have EE's and I love them and might get some more for new bloodlines, My ducks are great I love my swedes and am going to get more. I thought a gosling would be fun.
