Getting Ducks

The ducks are doing great. On day 3 they went in their house on their own at night. I built a small pond and they went crazy in it. Yesterday I bought a heated bucket for them, is that a bad idea? I wasn't sure what size to get. I am gone all day at work and I don't want to worry about them running out of water. They have a small house to go in for shelter but I keep their food and water in one of those rubbermaid sheds with the door open. It has been unusually warm here but it does get down to the single digits in Jan and Feb

Make sure to use a GFI cord also..It prevents shock..

They haven't laid any eggs yet, I'm guessing because of the stress of the move. They are all about a year old.

What do they eat and what's the housing?....Pond?

I'm giving them an Southern States All flock crumble. They have a small pond. The housing is a little house about 6x4 with bedding.

Possibly not laying or laying on the pond?. Eggs under water?...
