Getting enough eggs?

Well i am planning to put some of my khaki campbell eggs in the incubator, but the main problem at the moment is that in the 7 day slot i have got to gather the egg i am not getting enough to make it worth my while. Any suggestions?

How many eggs short are you of having want you want? You could always collect eggs for an extra couple days. I don't think it would hurt anything.

Collect them for a longer period than 7 days - you could store them as long as 14 days if you give them a turn every day.

I have 8 Indian Runner eggs in my incubator right now, all from one duck that were laid over a 10 day period - so, the oldest egg was 10 days old when I set it. They're due in a little less than 2 weeks and they're all going strong - every single one is developing normally.

well managed to get enough but none were firtile, have seen breeding but when it came to candle i saw the yolk in all of them. suggestions? Might just order day old only need 4 though anyone know where i can get that amount

Pardon my ignorance, but isn't there supposed to be a yolk in a fertile egg?

Oh and www.metzerfarms.com allows you to buy as few as 2 at a time.
