One of my 12 week old pullets will peck at water rathe than scooping up a drink. She will continue to peck at the water for 10 to 15 minutes. I am concerned that she is not getting enough water.

I have not noticed it before, and I am adding a tablespoon of 5% Apple Cider Vinegar to the water container. The container is about 1 gal standard round water container with the open slots

Is she swallowing any of the water? How does her crop fell—empty and flat, full, hard, puffy, or doughy? ACV is not harmful at that ratio, but it is not really needed in the water. I just clean my waterers daily and offer clean water. I would just watch her and maybe try to distract her by tossing a few bits of scrambled egg or sunflower seeds, and keep an eye on her.

I would stop the ACV in the water.
Clean fresh water is what they need.
Unless you’re trying to treat for something, there’s no need to add things to the water.
They typically know what they need. It could be the ACV is making her too acidic, but she can’t tell you that.
