Getting Free Wooden Box -- what would you do?

When I looked for a location it did not have one listed for you. Glad to hear it wont have to hold snow.

Yeah I noticed I didn't have a location posted. My bad. It just struck me as funny!

I'd love to see inside pics of your coop to see if I could get more ideas.

Here are some pics of the inside of the mini coop.
I am not a carpenter but I pretend to be one on weekends.

I made it out of cull lumber and stuff we had laying around from building our other coop. It is only 36x43 (aprox dimensions) since that is the largest piece of material I had on hand for the base. I got some cull sheet goods from Home Depot for the ends at 51 cents a piece. The sides I had on hand. I left the area under the edges of the roof open for ventilation and added hardware cloth as well as screen . I can stuff them full of old towels if I need to close them due to the cold. For the windows I sandwiched hardware cloth between the wood and the siding along with screening.

Inside the mini from the clean out door end.

Feed bin mounted on the inside of the clean out door makes for easy monitoring and keeps floor space open.

The roost is mounted on scraps of wood that I screwed to the frame.

I kept the framework as slim as I could to keep as much floor space as I could. You can see in this pic that I did not have the front window finished. The corners of the hardware cloth are held on with screws and washers.

Don't tell my chickens but the plexiglass windows do not fit very well.
