Yeah, mine do that too. Wait until the dead of winter, they'll sleep in longer sometimes!!
Awesome because their water is frozen till I bring warm water and breakfast for them. :wee

This is my safe pen set up for when not out in the larger fenced in yard.
Dog house and vapour barrier plastic on all sides. Plus chain link top with tarp over top.
I’m thinking of adding plywood to all 4 sides in the spring and then vapour barrier on 3 walls that needs it..:idunno
Was my Ducks pen so that heat lamp is removed. :frow

About as big. About 140 -150 each. But bores are big. I had the same problem you did. Jumpers. As the got bigger they couldn't clear the 4 ft too easily but yours will be smaller when grown up. But the test the sides of the fence for sure! Took years to figure out the best fence shelter feeders and hay racks and everything suited for them and me. All goats are different and everyone's yards and needs are different.

Mine sleep in when it's crappy weather or cold. There awake but don't wanna move (kinda like me on Sunday). But even when single digits and snow the be out and about most of the day
