Getting Goat kids

Pics
Just picked up the buck~ :woot Seems really happy with his new home, Didn't cry as much as i thought he would. Decided to put Tilly right in with him even though she isn't in heat. He's successfully bred her multiple times. The doe waged her tail lots and stands for him so maybe she is in heat? not 100% sure.. He doesn't care about that of course!

@oldhenlikesdogs This is my first time breeding does, How long would you keep the two together for?

I have always just kept the buck with the does until around July when I removed him for a few months so I don't end up with kids in the dead of winter.

He's a good looking boy. I miss the goofy sounds and noises a buck makes. :D

He's a gentleman~ Gets along with my wethers and hasn't tried to fight them through the fence yet, could just be that he's distracted by the doe. He hates being haltered though, will follow you if you have grain with no problems but he'll start freaking out if you try to lead him "/

Thanks, they love the house. That's all I have for them to jump on for now.. plan on adding more stumps and tree logs.

@MillersFarm
Did you get the Doe too?
No :( The guy decided to keep her for breeding, But said if he has more in the spring he'd sell them to me.
