Getting Goat kids

I understand, but I'm learning..Who knew Fancy would be so attached to me?..

I see the attachment more when they are younger. She may settle more as she matures.

Goats do want they want and do what they can to get what they want. Do you feed a ration still? That will make goats seek you out for that treat. I feed mine once a day. We do give some ration in winter so they are always at the gate waiting and yelling. In summer they don't pay me as much mind.

A lot of goats do enjoy human companionship. If you do breed her and she has kids her need to be with you may change a bit as she will have her kids for company. If her and Ozzie were brother and sister they would be a bonded pair. Since they are basically strangers they aren't bonded like siblings get. So maybe you are filling that need right now.

Of course goats are needy creatures. They like being taken care of and petted. That's why they are always at the petting zoos. That's also why I have gotten deeply attached to many over the years.

She was talking to me. I guess I try to warn about stuff she may see, but it comes off like I'm putting goats down I think. I'm a person that likes to know all the bad things first, so the good things sound better. I also like to solve problems. Goats will make you good at that.

I'm sure you didn't mean any harm. I just I don't want to accidentally say something that I didn't realize could be read wrong.

I like to know the bad possibilities first to. I don't like unexpected surprises.

I'm gonna try and get goats or some larger farm animals soon . I'm expecting surprises

I always figure if you deal with the worse, get it over with and figured out, than the rest is easy. With goats keeping them confined is the biggest hurtle. I hope you get some goats too. Everyone should try them.

That would explain it. Maybe you should breed her a bit sooner than expected? Otherwise she should come around again in about 3 weeks.

I'll breed her the next Heat now that I know she is in heat and I'll get the male here in a couple of weeks..
I will need to get my pen set up better or maybe I should take her to the male?
Ozzy is right after her steady. He definitely likes her..
