Getting Goat kids

My Old Goat won't let me get rid of my Kid!
I'll come up with a different plan once the weather warms up..

I have to take him in to get the shots anyways. So they will check him for me.
My friend Susan said this behaviour is normal though. Fancy was just in heat on the fourth so is it possible she is in heat already again?

I believe they come in heat every 3 weeks. It was an annoying fall around here after I stopped breeding. It's one reason I switched to males, all the fall yelling. My wethers would just jump on a doe, but they couldn't go any further. They just rode them around.

That's what Ozzy does. His male part isn't showing but he rides her. He chases her. Maybe I need to relax?

That's kinda normal. If you had another goat or two his shenanigans would be spread out more.

I hope to get two more Does this year. I just want the 4 goats. Hopefully it settles him down or he will have to go eventually.

We are back to our winter now now drizzle just wet makes the arthritis pissed

Goats enjoy rough housing with each other, especially the males, so having a few more should help.
