Are they on a long tie out? Or a leash? When my goats came to me they were never handled because they came from a bad farm, so I put short leads around their necks...they still have them, they hang about six inches. It’s just long enough that if they are not listening I can try to grab them and lead them elsewhere. But, they first had longer leash type ropes and they got caught on the hooves. You might want to look out for that, especially jumping in the hay. Just a thought...not meant to offend......Kids playing in my haystack today..
