We just finished our fence posts for goats, so we are getting closer to actually getting them. I am a little over whelmed with their upkeep compared to chickens, but this thread is certainly helping!

will you sell the milk, make soap, etc? I didn’t care about the milk. I thought I’d just try it out. My goat stopped nursing her triplets because they got disbudded and smelled funny so I had to milk her out because she was painful. But, she’s back nursing now. I might milk again, just to make fudge or something, but it’s not on my agenda. The milk tastes very good...sweet.
