Getting Goat kids

Morning We had the meeting of local chickens folks gee no surprise many had goats

Well, I think we have determined that the buckling that we wanted as our buck will be too big . I want to keep him as a wether. I’m super attached to him. He is already 17lbs at only 5weeks old! His brother is only slightly smaller, we’re going to watch his growth. We originally chose the bigger because he looked like the stronger of the two.

I got to walk my goats today because it’s 38*!! They were soooo happy! Me too! I took my coat and gloves off, I was so hot! We had named the kid, Sugar because she’s white, now we decided the momma will be Honey because she’s brown. We only need 3 more names....

I know!! My hubby teases though that he’s going to call the momma Brown Sugar! Goof ball!
