Oh thanks for replying. My Doe and wether don't faint either..You see the goats in my profile picture? Momma and the little black and white dude faint.. the other will not nor can he.. and both are from her... same buck as father ... figure that one out..lol..genetics are funny... And the little fainter will not jump onto anything anymore.. he scares himself stiff..lol
All in all.. they are easy to raise.. just watch copper intake.. and make sure you get yours from a closed herd.We lost 3 due to Barberpole worms.( we got lied to when we bought these goats) so , that was hard to deal with.
Goats have become very resistant to dewormers. So we opt not to do that anymore. And it has worked out great for us.We had more problems with deworming and scours and other stuff when we where doing that.
..Ours are healthy ,wormload is minimal and the eyelids are super pink.
