Getting hard water out of bator tray

I have very hard water and my plastic tray has a lot of hard water in it.How would I get that out,tried white vinegar but it didn`t work.Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe try baking soda combined with the vinegar? It might just be time for a new tray...

When I clean the scale of my aquariums/lids it can take awhile, I soak and scrape/pick until I get as much off as possible. The more often you clean the easier it will be for the vinegar to dissolve it.
