Getting in the coop

The ramp I built has boards nailed to it every 5 inches. So they don't slip. I put the on it at the bottom and they will walk up. Even the ducks can walk up it okay. I just wonder if it is so long that it is far away from the door that it is confusing them. Today after the rain all the chickens came out except the 2 white silkies. One of them walked all the way down the ramp then turned around and walked back in.

Hi mine has boards across too but they slip between them
I guess the only thing to make it shorter is making steps?

Last night was the first night that they all went in on their own.

Throw a handful of sunflower seeds into the coop then close the door.
