Getting into coop at night

I don't do Rangers. But what you describe is pretty common for my dual purpose, especially with an elevated coop. If I try this with a ground level shelter or coop it's less of a problem.

When I first let them in the run associated with that grow-out coop they typically want to sleep under the pop door instead of in the coop section even if I leave them locked in the coop section only for over a week before I let them into the run. So every night I'm down there at dark to put them in until they gt the message. My brood size is typically around 20 chicks. On one occasion it only took one night for all of them to get the message. A couple of times it took three weeks before the last ones went in on their own. Usually it takes me about a week for all of them. Hopefully you are ahead of that schedule. Just be consistent, they should eventually get the message.

Good luck.
