Picking up 4 Barnevelder chicks tomorow! Don't really need more chicks, but saw on my Facebook page a local store that got a shipment! I have 25 chicks already in the house!
14 Lavender Orpingons, 4 FBCM, 3 SS and I bought 4 Cornish X chicks, hoping I can butcher them! They are 1-4 weeks old.
I'm nuts! I keep asking myself why I keep getting more?!
I already have 32 in the coop! Chicks drive me nuts after 4 weeks with the mess and smell and then transitioning them. My mother calls me a chicken hoarder. There's just something about seeing my chickens running around and talking to me that makes me happy!
