Yes we did. We even put apple slices on it. We had to take them down and put them into the run. They will walk up the ramp but not go through the hole to roost. They can fit the opening is big enough.

Can you post a pic of that pophole? What is the exact size of it? I'd like to 'see' your setup...maybe I'll spot something you're not aware of. Either that or your girls are just being plain stubborn!

Here is our coop! One of the hens has made her way up the ramp. I know they can fit they must just be on a learning curve.
