Well I got roped into a project that I have decided I am going to break down and get a serger for. I've decided on one. But I'd like to know what recommendations I could get for a good book on serger sewing.

One I have and like is one by Singer:
Quick and Easy - Sewing with your Serger by Becky Hanson

Not only does it have a section on learning your way around your serger, it has 15 easy sew projects that teach skills on the serger. I got mine of Amazon.com so I didn't pay the $21.95 bookstore price.

I have a Bernina serger and love it.

Thanks NanaKat. I belong to another group and asked the same question there. Two of the ladies have books they are sending me. SCORE!!! I'm just going to get a Kenmore. I've been real pleased with the Kenmore sewing/quilting machine I got in Feb and the serger is real reasonable so I'm headed to Sears on Sat. Hubby and I will go get the machine and have lunch together. He's a gem. I'm gonna do a job for his dad's business and I told him I really needed a serger to do it because I don't want that wear on my sewing machine. He totally understood and said no problem. The only bummer is I just got batting for two quilts I'm ready to finish but they may go on the back burner. Who knows maybe I'll baste one tonight.
