I had 2 females and 1 male almost a year old my male was killed about 2 months ago. I was thinking about getting 2 ducklings from Metzer but wasnt sure if I should get 2 males or 1 male and 1 female.

I was gonna raise the ducklings and introduce when older.

Now i know they say normally a 3 to 1 ratio

But would anyone recommend one more than the other?

2 males with my 2 adult females or just do a male and female to introduce to my 2 adult females I have.

If anyone has any imput that would be best to make my choice alot easier Id be so greatful for that

Thanks
Chris

I have heard that it is better to just have 1 male to every 3 or 4 females. I have 1 male 4 females and everyone seems to get along fine.

You could do either. I would go with two females since there would be less potential problems and I've always been an advocate for a bigger female to male ratio. However, you could get away with having one drake, it sorta depends on the drake you end up with.
