Getting polish chicks

my friend is hatching me some polish chicks. once they hatch, here is some questions

1. is there a definent way to see their sex? if their male or female

2. how long until they get pretty good size, large enough to be put in with the normal chickens

Polish chicks, they are awesome. (you should definitly get pics on here if you can after they hatch) we had one that we got with a mixed breed bantam order. and we absoulutely loved her. they are beutiful, and have a great disposition. I'm not actually sure how to sex these chickens, especially since we only had one. You could probably google it, and come across some pictures showing you how to sex them though.
i think ours were like 6 weeks old when they were able to socialize with the older chickens. but they were out in the coop at 2 weeks with aheatlamp on at night. but it would definitly be different with fall/winter coming. they should be okay to go in with the other ones when they are pretty well feathered out, and a good size. you kinda wanna be your own judge on that though. i'm guessing you would beable to tell hwen they would be ready to go out of the brroder.

You can tell really easy what sex they are at 8 weeks old you can tell by the comb but I could tell at 3 days old (bantam) they usally have a bump near where the comb is if they are male or some of the males have combs little but they have them at a week the pictures are of males

You'll have to wait till they get older to sex them, and if you have snotty full sized regular birds like mine... the polish will get pecked to pieces.... at least mine did till they met their unfortunate fate. They weren't hardy enough for me and their crests got in the way. Had to trim them and it still wasn't enough to "man them up".

silkie, a few other polish i had in with my regular hens got murdered too.. i built polish and banties a seperate coop.

in the pictures 5 weeks old now they are 8 weeks old
