WHEN I was a boy, we played "marbles" a LOT! And we played "keepsies" (for Keeps).

Once I went home with a LARGE bag of marbles that I had won. My Mother was "upset" and told me to return them. "That is GAMBLING !!!"

I couldn't return them because I didn't know whose marbles were whose.

My Father told me to just not let my Mother know when I played marbles................

I just lost a chick to drowning in the waterer, and this is WITH marbles in it. Be sure to use lots of marbles!

You could check the craft section of Walmart for the solid colored flattened marbles that are used in flower vases. They also sell them in pet stores for use in fish bowls and fish tanks! Some times you can find them in Dollar stores too!
