I bought a dozen Delaware hatching eggs online. The eggs were laid in the morning and shipped that afternoon. That was a Tuesday and I got the eggs Thursday afternoon. I was thinking that today would be day 21, but would it really be tomorrow? The eggs were laid exactly 3 weeks ago today. Does that make sense?

Also it appears that all the chicks are alive and well at this point. How odd would that be? This is my first hatch. We have a Brinsea with an auto turner and it appears that temps and humidity have been spot on. I candled for the 3rd time on day 18 and they all looked just as they should according to online candling pics. What are the chances of all 14 eggs making it if they were moving and lookine good on day 18?

Thanks, we are super excited at this point. We have even seen a couple eggs move a bit. That is good right?

Day 1 is the first day you put the in the bator. They take 21 days to INCUBATE, not since the point of laying it.

We had seven eggs in the incubator that were to hatch last Sat. and two hatched on fri. an then two more on sat. which we had to help a little. The four are fineand three did not hatch. Hang in there, they will be here soon!

Oh man, than I am way off. Like two full days. Nuts, what should I do? They have been in lock down since day "18" but I guess that was really day "16." I doubt they will have enough water in the resevoir to last two more days plus hatch. but now they are really in lockdown. Nuts. Advice?????

You are fine to open the incubator as long as there are no pips. So if there are none tonight, I would go ahead and refill the reservoirs.

top it off and then leave it shut for the next 2 days!
