I received my eggs today. 20 eggs i will let them rest till the 19th to set up the moon phase hatch.
one thing i noticed is one egg is dirty. Should i try to clean it or just let it be?
They are setting small end down, letting the air sack get right.

Just lightly rub or pick off any big chunks. No washing.

Funny, I've been calling my Brinsea EcoGlow brooder the electric hen, because the chicks huddle under it to warm up, peek out, run out to do things until they need to get warm again, and then go back beneath the warming plate. It is SO much like the way they act with a broody hen mama! No big glaring heat lamp, no trying to get the whole brooder bin warm, just let them act naturally with the electric hen/EcoGlow!

There is not really enough to "pick" off so i will just leave it be. No point in over correcting the problem.
