Getting ready!!!

Im getting ready for winter, and I currently dont have the big pen for my ducks yet. Me and my mom are gonna start on it soon, probably next week. When we get back from new york. Is there anything speical I need to do besides feed them more becuz they wont be able to forage as much? Thanks!

Not to state the obvious, but you'll have to come up with some way to keep their water from freezing.

Mine already have a covered smaller run, but I plan making a few covered areas out in the big run too, just so when it snows they have places to go to get out of it. I am also going to wrap part of the covered run up to help keep snow out. That's all I plan on doing, but this will be my first winter with my ducks, so there may be more I need to do.

Mine eat layer ration mixed with whole grains from the farm, they go outside in the snow all winter too.
