In my room there are these tiny ants that like hangout by the trim only in that area I sprayed stuff and they were gone and than I found one or two ants on the carpet in the same room and now three just on my closet floor. This room is clean and still get ants. The house also gets those house centipede things. No matter what we do there still just showing up. At this point we might just numb the house but that takes planning because we have pets. Any ideas that are natural and don’t really have strong smells to them?

Here in my Pacific Northwet, the first sign of spring is the tiny house ants pouring in.

Orange oil seems to keep them at bay. Borax also helps (sprinkle at foundation).

But honestly, you need a friendly little house spider. I've named my Frederick. He (as it is not allowed to be a she with an egg sack), must stay by the corner of the molding.

Frederick eats all spiders that enter my 2nd bathroom. It is the ONLY thing that has detered the constant stream of ants in that bathroom.

I've lived in harmony with Frederick for a number of years. I'm pretty sure by now I'm on Frederick the III or IV.

but barring a friendly little house spider, I can recommend orange oil sprayed at the base of the molding and borax sprinkled at the based of the foundation. (Just be sure chickens can't roll in it).

Thank you. I’m not a huge spider fan so I think I’ll stick to spray options 😭. We got stuff yesterday and going to see if that works
