Getting sick of people who thinks all kids and or teens are rotten

Once you get into college, it's a whole 'nother ball game. Then you have people talking about them crazy college kids!

Remember the kid who died, recently, after scoring the winning points in a high school basketball game? I heard on the radio, this morning, that since his death, at least two of his friends/teammates have slept at his mom's house, so she wouldn't be alone. I cried when I heard that.

No, not all teenagers are bad.

I am sorry tho...I know some ppl think I'm terrible because I let my children watch tv...go figure...

I seen something on dateline or 20/20, nightside something like that...to where there was a boy who was getting too big for the parents to carry up/down
their stairs (he was disabled) and then one football player stepped up and came over BEFORE school everyday and carried him downstairs for the parents
and after school/FB practice etc...he came over and carried him upstairs for them too...

he is leaving for college this fall or sometime soon they said; but other teens have stepped up and have made a schedule to come take over for the
parents...

I know,, I hate that too, I always have. It's like being a teacher; you are automatically assumed to be the worst person in the world. Look at this way though,, at least you will grow out of being a teen,, and remember when you do to not talk badly about them! I wish I could say something to help, but people make are going to make assumptions based on age, looks, color, creed, profession, etc. I got into an argument Tuesday morning with someone at coffee in a restaurant because a friend brought her 17 year old son who has very long hair with her. He is very tall, very skinny, and the nicest kid you could want around. When they left one guy who is also racist in addition to being just plain rude, started saying if that was his kid he would kick him out of the house! Because of his hair? Really? Get over it!

yeah ppl get on my nerves lol... i was at kmart and a couple adaults looked right at me and started talking how rotten i was.... i was standing in line holding my 7 yr old sis buying her candy???? didnt know that was so bad lol

I love teenagers. When my kids were teenagers we had a lot of great years. A parent needs to spend more time connected during the years before their kids become teens. Public school is also a destroyer of the family. Teens in public school are rarely as interesting as those who homeschool.
